Mr. Lee Quoted in World Journal After Visa Number Scandal
Resolution
Mr. Lee was quoted in the daily newspaper, World Journal, on 7/18/2007
in connection with the USCIS action to allow 30 days for EB classes
1 – 3 to file I-485 adjustment of status application until
August 17, 2007 that:
This move might be the best step the Department of Homeland Security
could offer to recover its scandal. As to the aftermath to future
applicants who worry that the increased I-140 and I-485 applications
will overflow the quota and put adjudications on hold at a later
date, Mr. Alan Lee stated that we could begin lobbying Congress
for an increase of the employment based visa quota. Mr. Lee said
that aliens who qualify for skilled employment base are “the
ones all countries wish for but America pushes these talented individuals
out of the door.”
